What We Do

The Tax Collectors Office collects Real Estate, Personal Property, Motor Vehicle and Supplemental Motor Vehicle taxes. The Tax Office contracts with the Thompson Water Pollution Control Authority to collect their sewer usage fees. We also collect the fees for, and issue, the Annual Transfer Station Permits. We provide information to attorneys on Title Searches for real estate closings and refinancing arrangements. We work closely with the five Volunteer Fire Departments to produce and approve the annual Abatement Program for EMT and Fire-Rescue personnel.

If you have questions please call our office at (860) 923-2119, come in to see us, or click on our Tax and Assessment Information.
