NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING – March 24, 2020

The Electors and Citizens qualified to vote in Town meetings of the Town of Thompson, Connecticut, are hereby notified and warned that a Special Town Meeting of said Town will be held at the Thompson Public Library/Louis P. Faucher Community Center, 934 Riverside Drive, North Grosvenordale, Connecticut, on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. in the evening for the following purposes:

  1. To choose a moderator for said meeting;
  2. To consider and act upon the following resolution:

RESOLVED, that the Town appropriate up to $200,000 to defend and settle the litigation regarding the Marianapolis Sewer Project; such funds to be taken from fund balance.
