Join Us! 65 Main Planning Project - Workshop #7
Workshop #7 in the year-long series to plan the future facility at 65 Main Street will take place on Monday, April 29, 6-8 p.m at Town Hall and on Zoom.
This month's workshop will be the first in the "Education Unit," where participants will discuss possibilities for a new "Farm-to-Fork" career path at TMHS. All members of the public are welcome to attend, and Board of Education members, parents, students and faculty are particularly encouraged to attend. Topics of discussion will include potential curriculum, funding mechanisms and other potential resources and synergy with the popular culinary program.
The "Education Unit" in the planning workshops will run from April through June. For the June session, project partner CT RC&D will schedule guest speakers from food hubs, incubator programs and start-up farm businesses.
