2020Census

Residents may visit https://2020census.gov/ and follow the prompts to respond online (even if they have not received or don’t have the 12-digit Census ID number that is found in the materials mailed to each individual home). They may also give their information to a Customer Service Representative over the phone, any day from 7:00 am to 2:00 am. The phone number is 844-330-2020. The Census Bureau is offering a callback option to better respond to requests during periods of high call volume. When the callback option is presented on the line, residents may provide their preferred phone number and time of day for a return call, and an official census representative will call back to collect their Census response. A list of helpful frequently asked questions may be found here: https://2020census.gov/en/ways-to-respond/responding-by-phone.html. Phone numbers for those who speak languages other than English are also available at that link.

The Census Bureau expects to have paper applications out to people who have yet to respond online or over the phone by the beginning of May. However, residents still have quite a bit of time to be counted. The self-response deadline has been extended from July 31st to August 14th
