To My Fellow Residents of Thompson:

As a result of Executive Order 7B and starting on April 2, 2020 our budget meetings with the Board of Finance will be taking place on the virtual meeting platform, Zoom.  At this moment it is unclear how long this Executive Order will be in place, but I am committed to moving forward with the budget process.  Additionally, I am also fully committed to you, our taxpayers, having a voice in this process.  Links to attend the virtual meetings will be on all agendas and found on our Town Website.  We have also set up a place for comments on budget issues at our website, click here.  All comments directed towards budget issues and concerns will be shared at Board of Finance meetings.

I welcome any questions you may have about the virtual meeting platform.  Please don’t hesitate to call the Selectmen’s office with questions.  I’ll be happy to assist you.  In spite of these difficult circumstances, we will keep working hard to ensure our town stays strong and stable.

Sincerely,

Amy St.Onge, First Selectman
