THOMPSON TOWN HALL WILL BE CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC BEGINNING MARCH 18, 2020 UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
Dear Thompson Residents,
In an abundance of caution due to coronavirus concerns, the Thompson Town Office Building will be closed to the public beginning Wednesday, March 18, 2020 until further notice. We have made this determination in an effort to ensure the health and well-being of citizens and staff alike and appreciate your patience during this critical time.
Town offices will be staffed for business to be conducted via phone, internet or mail during the following hours: Monday through Thursday 9 am – 4 pm. The Building Office hours will remain Monday through Thursday 7:00 am – 3:00 pm.
Tax Collector’s Lock Box
Please use this lock box while the Town Hall is closed to the public. Envelopes and pens are provided for your convenience.
Include your tax bill/statement or write your name and address and a daytime telephone number on the envelope.
Please seal your envelope. We will check the box throughout the day, apply your payment, and mail your receipt to you.
If you need an updated balance, please call us at 860-923-2119. Motor Vehicle payments will be reported to DMV daily, and you will be cleared on the following business day. Online payments may be made at www.officialpayments.com.

There is a second box available for all other Town Business. Please contact the specific office to verify if dropping off documents and or payments is the procedure they are following.
