Thompson's Community Garden

Volunteer, John Lenky, is preparing the site for the Thompson by the River Community Garden for the raised beds that are being built by the Tourtellotte Memorial High School IT students.  With the support from Ken Beausoleil, First Selectmen, this project is moving onto the next stages.  First ground preparation, next a volunteer cleanup day on September 28th and then the Grand opening on October 19th from noon to 4 p.m.  The opening will feature a pop-up farmers market and entertainment.   Email planner@thompsonct.org to volunteer, register for the farmers’ market, or for more information.
