School Security Update

An ad hoc committee meeting was held on November 9, 2022 to discuss school security. An in depth discussion ensued about either reinstating the Resident Trooper Program or adding armed security officers at the school campus. Lt. Eric Haglund from Troop D was on hand to answer questions and provide information about the Resident Trooper Program. The Committee will be meeting again on November 30th at 6pm to continue the conversation. The goal is to formulate three questions to be presented to the public at Town Meeting and adjourn to Referendum so that voters have final say in the decision.
