National Park Service Assistance for the Trails Committee

Congratulations to the Thompson Trails Committee, in partnership with the Office of Planning and Development, on the news that the National Park Service has awarded assistance grant to help develop the Train Wreck site along the Airline Trail! Through the Rivers, Trails and Conservation Assistance Program, National Park Service (NPS) staff will visit Thompson and share their expertise to help the Trails Committee and The Thompson Historical Society turn their ideas for this historic site into reality. It’s a good day for a Train Wreck!
