July 31st Last Day to Renew Dog Licenses before penalty

As many of you are aware, all dog licenses for the 2019-20 year expire on June 30, 2020.  In order to continue to maintain social distancing requirements due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are processing renewals by mail AND via an on-line website.  Beginning June 1 Click Here for the Dog License Renewal Website.  On-line license renewals will be open until July 31, 2020.  After that point you will need to renew dog licenses through the mail.

We would like to use this opportunity to have you check your information in the Name & Address section as well as the Phone, Dog Name, Breed, Color, Birth Year and Sex columns to make sure we have accurate information.  (In the Sex column, N = Male-Neutered and S = Female-Spayed).  If any of this information is incorrect, please make the change on the renewal notice and return it with your payment for renewal if renewing by mail.  If renewing via the on-line website it will prompt you to send an email to our office with either an updated rabies certificate and or the corrected information.  Once we update the information on our system you will then be allowed to renew that dog.

If your dog has been spayed or neutered since last year, please return proof with your renewal payment in order to receive the lower license fee.

Dog license processing for 2020-21 will begin on June 1, 2020 in the order we receive them.  Your renewal payment must be postmarked by July 31, 2020 in order to avoid the late penalty.  There is also a drop box outside of the Town Hall entrance for your convenience.  Please do not mail or drop cash.  Checks or Money Orders should be made out to the Town of Thompson.  Thank you for your cooperation and your understanding through this uncertain time.
