Thompson Ecumenical Empowerment Group

TEEG is a human services organization that lends assistance and support to families living in the communities of Northeast Connecticut.  Starting out in the small mill village of North Grosvenordale, TEEG’s reach has expanded to serve neighboring communities in the Quiet Corner.  Founded in 1987 by a group of concerned citizens, local government and clergy, TEEG has grown to become an integral part of communities we serve.  Over the years, our focus has changed from a “hand-out” to a “hand-up” approach fostering individuals’ collective abilities to reach out and help each other.
